I signed my enrollment agreement 1/26/2006.  I was a little hesitant at the price at that time.  It seemed a lot of money to me.  I had been trading stocks but really wanted to learn options. The next week we started and are now into our 10th or 11th week of class. I'm sorry but I just couldn’t' handle watching all those green numbers on our paper trading.  I had to start on my own.  Needless to say, I made some mistakes, and I will learn from them, but the end result was fantastic. I made lots of trades in and out, some of which (7 or 8) I lost on. The best ones were on our IRA accounts though:
                                                                            
I definitely learned to concentrate more on my bid and ask spread prices. I almost got stung there. Instead of making money I'm going to come out even because of the spread. Because you don't lose as much on your losing trades as you make on your good trades I totaled a gain of $137,645.94 from 4/3/2006 to 4/21/2006 and I still have a couple of trades running.  And of course I subtracted my cost of the course from that.  Thank-you, thank-you, Coach, Dr. Cooper, and Prosper Inc.  I can't wait to learn the rest of the course!

After 2 years of frustrating losses, I joined the mentor program. My first call to my mentor was about a week and a half ago. I explained how I was trying to scalp everything to make some money. He told me to calm down and use what I already know. I just wanted to call and say thank you. Using a demo account, per his suggestion, from July 6th, to the 17th, I have made a profit of $16,249.32, all because he told me to calm down. Those were not his exact words but that is what he said; go for big moves in the market every couple of days don’t try to scalp everything every five seconds. I want to say thank you in a big way. I am going to continue to do this paper trading in the demo account for at least another month. So far, I have done 7 trades and every one of them has been at least 100% or more profitable. I think I have found a strategy that works very well! Like I said, I am up over $16,000 and I just wanted to say thanks again!

 

Just as a side note, I am in my 8th trade (July 19) and already ahead by $2500.

I've done 58 trades this year....51 are plus money $78,000 and my 7 minuses were around $11,000. I've been on a roll for the past 2 1/2 months...I've had 31 trades in a row that were on the plus side.  I have 7 trades I have bought this week but haven't sold them yet. So I'm getting better each day.

I am so glad to have decided to hire the coaching service of Prosper Learning and my coach! I used coveredcalls.com and saw that YHOO was on the list of high premiums. Then I began watching it for one afternoon until the indicators were triggered and knew that this is a volatile stock so the next morning I placed the trade. In thirty min. of making the trade I made 150 dollars, but I knew it was going to perform better than this so I held on to it. By late afternoon the market shot up and I was down 150 dollars. Not to fear - I knew it was on the way down even with that late day jump. The next morning I read Market watch before the market had opened and saw where the tech sector was anticipating getting beat up. At nearly 24 hours after I placed the trade I was up 2,750 dollars on a 750 dollar investment. That's what I’m talking about!

 

My coach has been worth his weight in gold - I am certainly glad that I have stumbled across this program. He has taught me where to look for the best stock picks and the best websites to use. This is mainly what I needed, just to have someone point out and say this is where you need to be looking. So this is what I am doing now - looking for the right moves to make I have not placed live trades yet, but I have just funded my account and am seeking the right options. But the upside is - I have made paper trades using options that have gained over 100%, so it is not but a matter off days until I am ready to make live trades. I am confident about what I know and I also have John to back me in any question I have. Rock on Prosper!

Just thought I would inform you of the quick small profit I made today. Bought .OEBRL (OEX JUN06_500 PUT) @ about 8:10am; got filled at 1.70 Watched the market for about 20 min, then went to watch a little bit of TV, then took a shower. Came back and seen that the OEX was approaching the Support Level @ 9:30am. Got out at 2.80

Cost: $170.00 + $10.95 (In) + $10.95 (Out) = $191.90
Return: $280.00
Earned: $110.00

ROI: 146 %( comm. incl.) [About 46% Profit after commissions] ...And now I see that the OEX has broke its Support and could of made more $... Oh well...
