Recently, I have finished my twelfth week in the Prosper Learning internet program which was personally tailored for me by my coach. My focus under his direction for this time period has been aimed at the development of my ecommerce website. There I am selling consumer electronics and software in the areas of remote controls, home automation, home theater, security, surveillance and safety, etc. Twelve weeks ago I had never coded a line of HTML in my life and this website was nothing more than a collection of ideas, written down on a few loose leaf notebook pages. That’s why it makes me especially happy to report that I took my first sale almost 3 weeks ago and with two more since then, my gross sales so far total $2441.13! So at this point, it is very safe to say that I am pretty “Gung Ho!” on the website development concepts that I have learned and appropriately implemented through the direction of my coach and the other support staff here at Prosper Learning. Use the top keywords in the URL’s of your homepage. When you name the actual URL’s of your site’s pages be sure to use a major keyword/phrase specific to the page. A great example is: http://www.rockymountainmattress.com. If you take a look at almost any page of this site you will see the major keyword/phrase for that page. Look at this page for an example: https://www.rockymountainmattress.com/what-is-memory-foam.htm. In this example it is important to know that one of the major keyword phrases for the page being named is “What is Memory Foam” You can see in the URL that this is the name of the actual page. This is a great example of what needs to be done when naming pages.
