It's been a couple of months since we finished our one-on-one coaching sessions and I thought I would give you a quick update as to where I'm at, and what I've learnt from the coaching, for my site.

In the last couple of months, I've spent most of my free time optimizing my site, submitting to directories, getting back links etc and my page impressions are improving dramatically. Getting quite excited now, as for one click-through and application by a website visitor last week, I made £900 (US$ 1500) from an affiliate relationship for secured loans. That was just one click and application from one user! Revenues are roughly around $8000 now in about 3 months. So things are picking up.

I know you have a lot of students at Prosper, some going well, some just starting and some doing it tough. In case you want to tell your students about my experience, feel free, as you know, I took a tougher route, by deciding to fully design my own site, using Dreamweaver and developing a affiliate marketing website. I spent a lot of time on learning HTML code, on top of all the lessons on niche marketing, USPs, search engine optimization etc that you assisted me with. I guess the biggest learning point that I can pass on to other students or potential students is that they need to ensure they are able to set aside 10-20 hrs a week and use this time efficiently to achieve small goals every week. Don't give up, there are days, when I found it incredibly tough to put time aside or find reasons to keep going. There is no doubt that students will have to sacrifice some 'leisure' time, but I guess to make an additional source of income, that can assist! To get out of the daily 9-5 grind, something has to give.

However, fortunately, I can pass onto your students, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Now, in addition to my original site, I am in the process of building other websites with like-minded contacts, in niche areas in the UK and further produce additional sources of income.
