Grocery Worker Prospers After Replacing His Income By Trading
After my wife and I were both locked out of work during the 5 month long grocery strike here in Southern California in late '03 and early '04, we knew we had to do something to supplement, if not replace, our income going forward. In our search for an avenue to do this we found Prosper. I am so grateful! My coach in the stocks and options department at Prosper showed me how to use strategies to not only make money, but minimize my risk at the same time. Having a one-on-one coach helped me to cut my learning curve by leaps and bounds. Although I still work in the grocery store, I have already more than replaced my monthly income. More importantly, I now know I have the ability to take my dreams to the next level and take my life in any direction I choose. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! The end of the first quarter reporting is drawing to a close and the results are better than last years quarter. The DOW was edging to an all time high and the economy is still moving up at an accelerated pace. But with the close of the quarter and the advent of summer we are seeing a correction leading up to the "summer doldrum" and will give us pause for thought as to our strategy and sectors we have been trading. Ordinarily the next rally will start in late August to early September. It appears that energy and metals are still the order of the day. Also, the first hurricane to look like it's heading for the gulf will set off a frenzy in the energy stocks. At that time all bet's are off and it will be every person for themselves. We will communicate more about this in the next newsletter.
