Internet Entrepreneur On Top Of The World After 4 Weeks!

I am writing to say how much I appreciate the support and coaching I have received from Prosper.

I started my coaching last December, at a difficult time in my life. I chose internet marketing because I have an enthusiasm for computers and the internet but knew very little about making money there.

My first coach was patient with me whilst I found what I really wanted to do. I missed out the basic stages, going through the process step by step but not being excited by products. Eventually, after going on The Wealth Retreat, I decided I wanted to build a dream venue on the internet.

My coach passed me to a marketing coach and we began to look at the proposal. Big reality check here. I have a history of thinking bigger than I act and now was due to be another of those times. As we worked, the vision outstripped the resources we had available, both people and money. I spent the first 3 weeks with that coach feeling hopeless and inadequate. What money we did have was taken by someone who said they could help, and did nothing.

After four weeks, everything started to come together. Now, I'm on top of the world. I still have a huge amount to learn and so do my people, but we're all willing. We have a new member of our team, building the site for us.

Really, for the first time, I feel myself ready to play in a new league. I feel we are creating a site of excellence.

Tip of the Month

Spend some time in understanding that the biggest thing any business must market is YOU! Many business owners and entrepreneurs spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours making marketing collateral, while skimping on themselves. Take some time to evaluate how you plan to market yourself, present yourself, and sell yourself. Do you have business cards, a polished short 'elevator' speech or USP, and 'pitch'? Spend some time writing down some thoughts on how you approach people and how you want them to think about you.

They always say to dress your best when trying to make a great first impression. You have to understand that people will make many different assumptions about you based on how you present yourself. Take some time to 'sharpen the saw' of your presentation. It will be well worth it.
