Updated Success For AL Couple Shows Great News For Holiday And Prosperous Plans For The New Year!

Just wanted you to know that Lee and I had another milestone to celebrate December 30th when for the first time we sold more than $800 in one day-our gross sales for that day were $883.95!

Sales around Christmas had been flagging some; so we decided to offer a New Year's sale on our special reports, email tips package, and 30-minute phone consultations for four days, Tuesday-Friday. We sent an initial notice, a reminder on Thursday, and then an "Offer Will Expire at Midnight" email on Friday. All in all, we raised more than $1500 with the sale and then had the record-breaking day on Friday.

We ended December with gross sales of $10,179.59, which seemed good for a holiday month.

We're starting 2006 in high spirits and are making plans to get two new websites up in January and February.

Lee and I send you our best wishes for the New Year-hope your holidays were fun.

All the Best,

-Nancy H.

Tip of the Month

Here are four powerful marketing tips for writers. Many people overlook themselves as the most powerful tool they have in their marketing arsenal. First, YOU are your best, most effective, passionate marketing strategy. Make sure that you talk to everyone you know about your book, product, or service. Second, ensure that your book over-delivers and exceeds the expectations of your readers. Third, utilize all of the networks that you have built up. Tap into your immediate and extended networks of friends, family, colleagues, and people who want to see you succeed. Last, maintain visibility. You can't afford to fly below the radar or fall of the map when your success depends so heavily on maintaining mindshare.

Be the introvert you need to be! John Gray's book, 'Men are from Mars: Women are from Venus' didn't hit the bestseller list until 9 months after it was published. It takes time and effort to market a book. Be ready for that! Talk to people, use your relationships, and ensure you have visibility.

Targeted Training on Host Beneficiaries/ Joint Ventures

This is an advanced course focused specifically on Host Beneficiary Relationships. These allow you to utilize existing good will and strong, bonded relationships that all sorts of other companies and professionals already have established with prime prospects for your product or service. The question you have to ask yourself is this: Who in your marketing area is already selling the customers you want to reach or the clients you want to serve? They would be selling something that either goes before, goes along with, or follows the product or service you would sell to these people.

In this module of 3 coaching sessions, the student will learn to implement a host beneficiary relationship within their industry.
