Prosper, Inc. Announces Tom Stockham, former CEO of MyFamily.com and former president of Ticketmaster.com, joins Board of Directors
PROVO, Utah - November 8, 2006 - Prosper, Inc. recently announced that Tom Stockham, former CEO of MyFamily.com and former President of Ticketmaster.com has joined their Board of Directors.
Tom Stockham joined Prosper, Inc.'s Board of Directors to help steer the company toward greater success among their rapidly growing base of students and employees. He remarked, "I hope to be a key member of the company's leadership team as we create the single most influential company in helping individuals grow their personal market capital."
Stockham said of his vision for the company, "I believe Prosper can become a key force in helping millions of people realize their professional and financial potential. Mr. Stockham has more than 15 years of leadership experience in consumer-facing technology companies. Most recently, as the former president and chief executive officer of MyFamily.com he guided the company to a new level of success. Under his leadership the company grew to become highly profitable, serving more than 850,000 active subscribers and employing over 1,300 people. Prior to his role at Myfamily.com, Stockham was the president of access and emerging markets at Ticketmaster, the world's leading ticketing and access company.
Stockham holds a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.
