Prosper, Inc. Appoints Former University of Phoenix Campus Director as Executive Vice President of Educational Services
PROVO, Utah - April 5, 2006 - Prosper, Inc. recently named Steve Hafen, former Campus Director of University of Phoenix Calgary, as the Executive Vice President of Educational Services.
Steve Hafen, 38, joined Prosper, Inc. to lead a new division focused on investments (through acquisitions and joint ventures) and student acquisition services in the proprietary education market.

Prior to joining Prosper, Inc., Mr. Hafen was the Campus Director for University of Phoenix Calgary. As the general manager of the Calgary campus, Mr. Hafen had overall responsibility for administration, marketing, enrollment, academic affairs, and student/faculty services. Prior to working with the University of Phoenix, Mr. Hafen was Vice President of Marketing and Distribution at Certiport, Inc., a leading provider of performance-based certification programs and services.
Mr. Hafen is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Bachelor degrees in International Studies and Japanese.
